With the study "Hate Crime in Russia", ReachOut Berlin has attempted to achieve its goal of bringing international attention to the situation of people exposed to violence motivated by racism. Of particular interest are the experiences and working situations that exist in the regions of Russia mentioned below to support the affected persons and their concerns.

Die Broschüre von ReachOut Berlin klärt auf über Rassismus im Jusitzsystem und die mangelnde Empathie, der Betroffene von rassistischer Gewalt dort ausgesetzt sind. Sie gibt Auskunft über Methoden der Prozessbeobachtungen und andere Möglichkeiten, Betroffene während eines Ermittlungs- und Gerichtsverfahrens zu unterstützen.
Die polnische Organisation »Nigdy Więcej« (»Nie Wieder«) und der Verein Opferperspektive haben 2009 eine Untersuchung mit dem Titel »Hate Crime Monitoring and Victim Assistance in Poland and Germany« veröffentlicht. Untersucht wurden Monitoring-Ansätze im Feld rechts motivierter Gewalttaten sowie nicht-staatliche Betreuungs- und Beratungsangebote für Opfer rechter Angriffe und Delikte in Polen und Deutschland.
